"Our Journeys" Story Slam w/ Vietnamese Boat People

Five brave storytellers will take the mic to share their journey of migration, identity, love, loss, healing, and discovery.

Think!Chinatown is proud to host Vietnamese Boat People for their 6th annual and first ever in-person Story Slam. This year’s theme is “My Journey.”  Stay tuned for announcements for this year’s selected storytellers. 

This Story Slam is part of Our Journeys, an exhibition hosted at Think!Chinatown. Join us for an evening of live storytelling, community, and connection.

  • 6:30 pm - Reception

  • 7:00 pm - Story Slam begins w/an intro from Tracey Nguyen Mang (Vietnamese Boat People)

  • 7:45 -  Reception & Mingling continues
