Arlan Huang (visual artist): “I make art to keep from falling into despair. I paint to exercise my First amendment right of free speech. My new work is called “ This Painting Fights Fascism”.
Cal Hsiao (photographer and community organizer based in South Brooklyn, currently focused on teaching youth workshops): “I believe in the power of art to help people imagine that a different world is possible.”
Siyan Wong (visual artist): “I believe art can be a vehicle for positive change and social justice. It's a universal language.”
