Community Safety Survey 社区公共安全调查

Think!Chinatown is partnering up with Self Evident, an independent internet radio show for Asian American stories, to learn more about public safety concerns during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as possible solutions for the Chinatown community. We will be conducting a Community Safety Survey, so we would love to hear from you if you are a Manhattan Chinatown business owner, employee, or family member involved with a business about your experience during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

We can conduct this survey on the telephone (20-30 minutes) or you can fill it out online.

Phone interviews can be conducted in Cantonese, Mandarin, Toisan, and English. Everyone’s personal identity will be kept private. However, the radio story may include anonymous attributions, for instance: “The owner of a local grocery store said that more support for homeless individuals was badly needed.”

We hope to speak with 20-30 businesses from these categories:

  • Food and Markets and anything else that is considered essential work in NY

  • Restaurants

  • Gifts Shop

  • Jade and Jewelry

  • Salon-Beauty-Massage

  • Wireless & Others

我们可以通过20-30分钟长的电话进行访问，访问可通过粤语、普通话、台山话或英语进行。您也可以通过线上填写问卷。

个人信息将被严格保密。而在电台节目的叙事中，我们有可能做出类似这样的匿名描述，以感谢您的贡献：“当地的某位杂货店店主告诉我们，社区亟需对于无家可归者的救助。”

我们希望能与20-30家来自以下行业的商铺进行接触：
