Get into the Lunar New Year spirit and make your own decorations in a hands-on workshop led by artist Ling Tang! In this workshop, you will explore the cultural history of Lunar New Year decorations, explore folding techniques to create continuous and circular chuanghua 窗花 patterns, and design your own 2D and 3D papercut art. During Lunar New Year, traditional household decorations  like chuanghua 窗花 are used to decorate your home's walls, windows, and  doors. These red paper decorations invite good luck into the household  and express happiness for the spring season. 

This workshop is for those who have already have some crafting experience or are already comfortable with arts and crafts. This workshop is not appropriate for kids. ** Tickets required to attend.
